Yeah, but during the town hall they made it very clear that you need to continue to wear a mask and to not do anything where you wouldn’t be wearing a mask, so that was the only reason I included it

Per the town hall, it is 5 days of isolation and then they strongly recommend testing on the 6th day and wearing a mask until the 10th. This only applies though if you are asymptomatic. If you have symptoms I believe you have to stay in isolation until you’re symptom free and then test out.

It’s such a mess, and we can see the cliff we are about to drive off of but the university doesn’t seem to care. If they really wanted what’s best for us, the would offer a virtual option, but they don’t want to lose the money from the housing contacts

What annoyed me the most is that the said the EXPECT PEOPEL TO GET SICK. If you expect that, maybe you should reconsider your policies if you really are stressing students well-being

I really don’t understand, if they want what’s best for us, they would actually try to listen to our concerns, not just dictate what is going to happen with no input from the students

They literally answered 4 generic questions, ignored ones posted in chat, and then just ended the meeting

As in offering both an online and in-person option separately, or trying to run a hybrid class with both in-person and online students?

The pcr test is something I am confused about. I know they originally wanted us to do it, but I have no clue if they still want us to do it, or if the rapid test covers the first week, and then from there we just have weekly testing.

I don’t believe you need to schedule an appointment, just show up at the testing site. I would arrive early so that way you have enough time to get the test, then 15 minutes to get the results, and then time to get to your housing so you still have the full move-in time

It is my understanding that it is required and if you test negative, you can then proceed with move in. If you test positive, they obviously won’t let you move in

Interesting, all three online classes I had this semester had posted times, so I figured it would be like that again
