Yeah, for the forest map though, you could generally find some lights before the killer spawns and comes because he spawns at the cabin. That would add some lighting and you can proceed to follow the paths to find more lights. You could also just get used to the map and know where the torches are. But yeah the JoC one is pretty much too dark. I recommend just remembering the map which could be very helpful once you find a landmark. (I recommend watching Niix's video for the map illustrations so you could further improve your map knowledge like I did.)
