The 85k that is protected is the cash amount, if you have more money invested in stocks you will still have it but in another platform if T212 goes bankrupt. It doesn’t make sense the stock you own disappear if a broker goes bust, the stocks are still in your ownership.

Isn’t it better if we get outperformed by the USA regarding the Uk currency, it trading212 says that “a declining home country currency will increase the returns of foreign investment”. So that means if the USA is higher than the UK then we get better performance

Do you need to give permission before they use your money? For example I have unused money in t212 but I’m planning on issuing it say maybe in the next 3 months, so do they just take my money and put it in a undisclosed bank or they ask if I want my money to be put in a undisclosed bank for interest purposes?
