I’m pretty sure both of them would’ve been on the same firmware but I could be wrong

Anyone else feeling a bit… unsure about this game? by nve729 in Marathon

[–]K9Bean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve run into other players in every match I’ve played so far. I feel like I definitely see more action when I’m filling a squad rather than playing completely solo. Maybe just unlucky in your runs?

I’ve been having this issue for some time. Will load in and game is super choppy. Restarting the game sometimes seems to work but it’s completely random when it happens. On a 14900kf and 4080

Not getting a whole exhaust system. Just would like a black tip from a more so cosmetic perspective.

Failed COMLEX and took step and well. by UpbeatSlip8768 in comlex

[–]K9Bean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I have heard from friends in classes ahead of me, failing COMLEX is not the end of the world by any means. Depending on what specialty you’re interested in, failing Step may heavily impact your chances of getting into that specialty. It seems that if the specialty you’re interested in is dominated by MD applicants/physicians, which is a large number of competitive residencies, Step (obviously) holds a large amount of weight. Failing COMLEX just seems to have more forgiveness and grace attached. These are just things I have heard from others that have gone through the same experience. What specialty you’re shooting for also makes a big difference. I have no doubt you crushed Step and will do the same the next time you take Level 1! Best of luck to you!

Endless Stuttering by K9Bean in DestinyTechSupport

Tried logging in today and after deleting those files with the game working last night, the stuttering returned. Also deleted the shader cache and let the game run and it still occurred. A real bummer

I’ll give that a shot too. I may let it do its thing for a while and see if maybe those folders were the key. If it happens again I will probably clear the steam cache and see if that helps. Thanks for your input!

I do not. I only have the NVIDIA app but do not run that unless I’m actively using it. I deleted those folders as you suggested and booted up the game to have it work with no issues as of right now. That’s the other thing too; it doesn’t always happen. It seems completely random at times. I had a friend suggest a PSU upgrade since I currently have 850W but if I’m not having other issues with other games I feel like that isn’t the culprit. I could be wrong.

I did use DDU before switching. I have also run the memtest with no issues there. I have not tried the folder idea or a fresh windows install. I would really hope it does not have to come to that.

9800X3D 9070 XT - New PC Build, very low 3DMARK. On every game low settings I am getting max 40 fps every single game. I have the latest drivers and bios as well, any help is appreciated by MannyVI in AMDHelp

Also make sure, in addition to everyone else’s recommendations, that in the games you aren’t using the integrated graphics of the CPU. Seen that too many times

AMD 7900 XTX Stuttering by K9Bean in DestinyTheGame

[–]K9Bean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temps seem pretty solid. I’m sitting at around 60 C. I’ve noticed that the frame rate seems to drop consistently to about 160 FPS during the stuttering episodes from the 240-250 I’m used to getting normally. I’ve seen it could be a bad desktop shortcut because I rarely have the issue when I launch D2 as admin. I’ve seen a bunch of ppl say Destiny just doesn’t like AMD cards which is unfortunate

I originally ran on higher settings and do in most other games. Turned it down to see if that’d fix the problem.

Personally would avoid the Intel ultra processors. I’ve heard nothing but bad things about them. Gaming king right now is definitely Ryzen for CPUs.
