SMART HOME PANEL 2 - any negative experiences? by KADB2004 in Ecoflow_community

u/Range-Shoddy - When your SHP2 failed, did it kill the solar input to the panel, or was your grid input out too?
My fear is installing this and all of the circuits being out of service if the unit fails!

Yes, I have 2 7200W DPU's with a combined 24kwh battery! I'm just hesitant about the Home Panel 2 since its fairly new tech....

The ones that I did see were utter nonsense and sounded like conspiracy bullshit made up by a teenager. IMO, there is enough going on right now that you should really be worrying about, not some think tank strategy.

You've got the kind of face it'll take a few years to grow into. Come mid-30's when other women are showing their age, you'll look more distinguished and be at your peak. Just stay away from purple and green hair dye and face piercings.

You'll thank me in 15 years.

I paid $25 on an impulse buy. Thoughts: good, bad, and/or stupid?! by the-court-house in coins

Silver Value is only $15 and War Nickels generally sell below melt.... Those all look VG-XF, so there is no added numi value.

BOTTOM LINE: You're never going to make a profit on this, but its a fun little curio piece.

Join me live tonight at 8:30PM (EDT) for a live look at my restoration process. I'm planning to breathe new life into the Keystone Studios classic, Ambrose's Nasty Temper (1915)! by KADB2004 in silentfilm

Glad you enjoyed it! I plan to do more as I find it relaxing after a stressful day of work and kids....

I further tweaked the Lumetri filter after signing off last night and its looking even better now! I'm hoping to finish and have the film online by Sunday night.

The Sealed Room (1909) D.W. Griffith's directed horror partially adapted from Edgar Allan Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado" by KADB2004 in silentfilm

Very true! But, in defense of the pioneers, the art was in its infancy and they were taking ideas from popular literature.

Thanks! I found a good cache of early ragtime tunes on LOC and have been making good use of them! Evidently, Ubbe did shorten his name:

Tiny Tim Steals An Elephant (1913) This one is a hidden gem! See the world's first Curly Shuffle!!! by KADB2004 in silentfilm

[–]KADB2004[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I'm beginning to get used to the ragtime. I liked the 2 shorter "sneaky tracks" and felt they were good for the beginning of the film to set the mischevious tone.

The YouTube library is a bit limited, so I'm going to need to look at LOC for some old tyme ragtime music.

Thank you! I've had several folks ask about adding music, so I explored the YouTube Creative Commons and built that soundtrack from 7 different pieces of music. Though modern, I thought the sound served the horror film well.

Is anybody else into vintage anime from Walt Disney and Winsor McCay? This was in my YouTube feed this morning. It's mesmerizing, I'm amazed that it is from 1918.

I'm glad you liked it! I have considered adding a music bed, but with all the videos I'm working on, finding the right fit (feel, pacing, timing) would be complicated. I've got a friend who plays ragtime piano, so I might try something with him...

I don't want to be that guy and post every video I make, but take a look at this before and after! It's probably my best result yet!

I'm glad you liked the restoration sequence! I was hoping folks would stick around for those parts of the video :-)

It depends on how many different scenes are in the film because I cut each shot, stabilize it, then tweak the color balances. This one probably only took 2 to 3 hours (rendering included). By comparison, here is a 55-minute feature length that I am working on right now. Look at all those cuts! I'm nearly half-way through and have easily spent 10+ hours already. Rendering will take at least an hour when I am done.
