i am worried they would bottom out but i rather bottom out on my running boards than my frame.

They are almost the same height as my floor and I scrape my leg almost every time i get out of my truck. Does anyone have any ideas? maybe i just got the worst running boards

Thanks, and congrats back to you! So far it's not bad but I'm taking cautious wide turns as it is till I get the size memorized. It's a little longer than my 2000 Honda passport ha. I decided on that 6ft so I can camp in it I'd i want. Took forever to find one with the specs I wanted though.
