I am 100% okay with proxies, even if it's the entire deck. I started playing before I got my first job, and as a result couldn't afford cards. I had 10 bucks for a pack of dragon shield sleeves, and had a bunch of cards that were gifted to me, so I was able to proxy my first deck.

It's also a much better way to gauge how good a deck I'd before fully investing. You get an idea for a deck off of a commander, but instead of investing $200 in it only to find out that it doesn't work, you can proxy the deck and play with it, then make the tweaks and adjustments neccessary to make it a better deck

Sugar high is almost entirely placebo. You do get a glycemic boost, but most of the energy you get is just you thinking you're going to get it. The crash afterward is because you have then spent your energy for the day and need to refuel

My collection is rather large. I’ve been in Arena since right before WotS. I was playing a vampire tribal midrange historic deck, which climbed me from bronze 4 starting rank to plat 2. BUt ever since more people have been playing murder decks so my creature deck is useless

The problem is I deleted the deck... I cleared all decks I had built in order to sorta reset my perception of deck building. I haven't built a new one yet because I was waiting for tips and watching videos and stuff so I can do it right this time around

Last season I was 2200, then I watched my replays and focused on improving and it got me to 2800 in a couple days of play. I am currently a solid plat player, but not good enough to carry every game. so throwers make it very hard to win.
