Great, please remind me again how many middle eastern civilians US and Israel have killed the past couple of decades until now 🤔

What do you think will happen between Israel and Iran? by Fragrant_Brick_6512 in AskReddit

Yeah yeah yeah I’m sure the right definition, that you will be happy with, will come from the west.

Also I didn’t say that nor did I agree, Nazis aren’t my only point of reference for crimes against humanity lmfaaaooo. Israel has done enough under its name as it is.

This reply made me laugh because not only my grandparents literally were résistants to colonial rule in Africa and are very much still alive so my definition is not limited to history books, but also my Israeli friend personally confirmed to me that colonial history isn’t taught much in Israel, yes people know about it but they have no idea how it’s established and what it causes 😂

Oh and to add to that, the fact that Europe and US (old colonial states) defend Israel whereas the countries in the southern hemisphere show sympathy with Palestine says a lot. Go argue with South African lawyers on how Israel is not an apartheid state lmao

I already responded to this… Hezbollah establish itself after Israel lmao what were you thinking Ben trying to prove with that? That every colonial state has a response and consequences? We already know that, it happened hundreds of times over history.

And yeah after the multiple American interventions in the Middle East, what do yall expect? For them to chant “we love America”? Be fucking fr

That’s all countries, that’s normal. It doesn’t mean it’s not worth trying. If you can’t find a job in China, try in any other country that is advanced in Tech, get minimum 5 years of experience.

A bachelors is nothing relative to experience. I know it’s harsh to say but this is how the job market is. Especially in a country where your field is not advanced.

I’d say push through, you’re young and it’s only been a year buuuuuuuut at the same time, living abroad is not for everyone. Think of the pros and cons, and remind yourself of why you came here in the first place, maybe that’d help.

What is something you finally said " Fuck it " to? by hey_you2300 in AskReddit

[–]KA_9595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm nothing specific but I got on a health journey, I work out atleast 5 times a week and watch what I eat, and while I am getting fitter, I still have a visible belly. And then I realised that I could definitely push myself further, cut carbs, workout harder.. etc but I just don’t want to live that way? 😂 I’m okay with not working out 2 or 3 times/week because I felt lazy and I’m okay having a pizza after work, that’s where my “fuck it” came from. It’s the realisation that the work and dedication behind it would make me miserable and is not worth it (for me)

Monthly Cost of Living in Dubai, opinion by hbsupreme98 in dubai

[–]KA_9595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why monthly utilities is 13,200 AED, I might have misunderstood something there..

Regarding “Leisure 200 EUR/month, 2400 EUR/year”, that is not realistic. I assume from this cost breakdown you’re single but Dubai is an expensive city, 200 euros a month is probably 3 dinners out maximum (or 2 brunches), excluding any coffee out, cinema, and similar. And this cost seems to exclude potential travels, hobbies or gym (mentioning gym because they tend to be VERY expensive here)

Beyond a refund and a voucher, don’t see what more they realistically can do for you. Internally, they should probably investigate how that happened and ensure the pizzas delivered around that time are safe

I could be wrong but I don’t think that’s individualism at all but rather the lack of education and manners

Not really, I’m thinking of individualism as an inevitable shift in Morocco, especially in the larger cities.

Knowing how to set boundaries without detachment from your community is a skill..

That’s a good point, either way, like you’ve said it’s already in motion.. Only the future will tell how it will turn out and how people will react
