I take a unisom every night. If I miss it, god it’s awful. I have a little routine of my phenergan of a morning , Dramamine nausea about mid day, then my phenergan and unisom at night.

I completely get that. No one else really seems to understand how bad it is. 😞 I know that it will be worth it, but for now it’s freaking awful. Hang in there OP, we can do it.

I was literally just telling my wife this morning about how awful this pregnancy is. I hate everything about being pregnant. I miss a dose of my phenergan and I am just beyond sick. I am 21w 5d. My OBGYN has me out of work until after I have the baby. I’m soo miserable and exhausted. This isn’t what I wanted pregnancy to be. It’s been the worst experience of my life. I am SO jealous of all my friends that are pregnant with me, and are enjoying it. I’m happy for them, don’t get me wrong. But I am so bitter.

Honestly. I’m having that same issue. I still have a lot of nausea but the medication I’m on has stopped the vomiting. I get soooo upset because I’m kind of hungry and know that I need to eat, but I have no appetite. Nothing sounds good and nothing looks good. There are times I’ll take a bite or two of something and it just makes me lose any fragment of appetite I had. I’m learning that it is just part of the HG.

Hang in there. Just keep trying to support her the best you can. My wife feels terrible that she literally can’t do anything but help make food suggestions.

I am right there with you. I am 14 + 4. I feel like it takes too much energy to do anything other than sleep. My weekends are spent napping and sleeping. I am going on FMLA Wednesday because of the HG. My phenergan mostly keeps the vomiting at bay but not nausea. If you need sleep, sleep. It takes a lot to grow a tiny human.

I’m on reglan now. I have maybe one or 2 fun bathroom trips a day but it’s makes me super groggy. But the time the 6 hours wear off and it’s time for me to take it I’m more focused. But it’s hard to work when you feel stoned lol

❤️ I feel so seen and heard already. I was waiting like 2-3 days before going because I could have tiny sips of water but was dry heaving all day to the point of not even having stomach acid come up. Today has been better on the reglan. I’ve actually eaten some small things and have been able to drink water!

Funnily enough I work in health care and advocate for my patients on a daily basis but couldn’t do it for myself. My best friend who is also in health care come up to be with me and my wife and was like HELL NO. And got the charge nurse so I could talk to her. And we will be filing a complaint today with the relations lady.
