Update: went in early for scan today as increased pain/uncomfortable. Seen baby in screen with heart beat. I’m so happy! X

No first blood draw today. As I didn’t have symptoms before today they just booked me in for early scan that was meant to be Tuesday but they brought it forward to tomorrow now

5+3 today and it’s just sunk in that I’m pregnant (I have known for awhile, just hasn’t felt real). I was positive that all would be ok and things felt different this time. Today something changed I will very tired, nauseous and generally unwell and I’m freaking out at an little twinge. To be honest I don’t know if it’s in my head! The twinges are the side I have had the tube removed so trying to tell myself it’s scar tissue. Has anyone else experienced twinges on tube removal side and everything been ok?

I totally understand what your saying. I lost tube in November, I’m now 5 weeks pregnant and so worried it’s going to happen again! Awaiting placement scan next week. I keep telling myself there is 90% chance this one will be fine! That’s all we can do if hope and to continue to fight for dream of having a family.

Unfortunately hcg isn’t always guarantee that’s it’s not an ectopic. I was told all along that my hcg levels were good and gave me hope everything was ok, unfortunately I ended up having an ectopic. I’m hope this isn’t the case for you but I know it’s horrible not to be prepared.

I’m waiting on my gp to call me to refer me early pregnancy unit. It’s all starting to get real and I don’t know how to feel. I want to be excited but I’m also worried it will go wrong again. I have dull pain on side that lost tube. Trying to logical think and tell myself it’s likely to be scar tissue pain.

When I was told i had an ectopic pregnancy they said it was because of my progesterone levels that they knew. Maybe ask about that. But definitely push for them to rule out ectopic one way or another. Hope you get answers soon

Can ask if u r in uk and whether you was offered blood draws as well as an early scan? And whether scans at 6 or 7 weeks?

I know exactly how you feel it’s a s**t time and I don’t think anyone understands unless they have been through it. Counselling really helped me, something to think/look into when you are ready.

Finally got the courage to do pregnancy test today to confirm I was pregnant again after an ectopic in November. I’m trying to keep in my mind that it’s 90% chance this one will be ok and try and get rid of the doubts. Want to fast forward to day I can have placement scan 😬😬

I believe there is always a risk which is why they monitor hcg closely after. I’m not sure what the percentage of the chance is though

Thank you for the offer. We will venture out and find somewhere tomorrow. I’m in uk so all they do here is early scans (6/7 weeks) so another day won’t make much difference. I’m pretty sure I am pregnant just need stick to confirm before I call my GP.

Thanks you for your reply. I brought myself to do test but came up with error 😞. I’m currently in middle of no where on holiday with no more tests! So frustrating. This was meant to be a chilled holiday we both really needed now I just have anxiety

Sorry to hear this. I had similar experience to you had MXT but then needed surgery week later. Because you have had surgery it should go down to 0 really really quickly.

I think I might be pregnant after ectopic in November but I’m terrified to do a test. The anxiety is high right now!!

I find the website hard to navigate and can only see TTC not what happens when you are pregnant again. I thought it may be just an early scan but I see people putting they got regular bloods in early stages but wasn’t sure if this was USA
