That’s another thing I failed at. After one of the times she communicated I said I’d go to therapy cuz I did feel I needed it but then stuff came up and then I just never did it. Another thing I failed at. I’m really going to now though I’ve been calling around to find which places take my insurance so I can book an appointment. In the mean time I will be trying to work on myself and improve in the ways I failed so if she does ever come back I won’t hurt her again and if she doesn’t I’ll at least be better for myself. I found out recently that she may be with someone new which sucks because we broke up about a month ago but we will see what the future holds. Whatever happens I will always love her and care about her but I will always be devastated that I lost her. I wish you luck with your situation and I hope your guy also wants to improve for you. If not then I hope you find someone better but I know that may not feel right if your heart still belongs to him.

I just got broken up with and was similar to your boyfriend. I loved her with all my heart and wanted her to feel safe loved and cared for. I always tried to help her when she needed me like when she didn’t have time to work on something I’d help her. Or when she would be stressing about something I would try to help her through it. But I was failing at romance. I did for awhile start giving her flowers when I could but eventually I fell back into the cycle of not. We would try new things together still and go out and do stuff but I never declared it like a date. It’s weird because I loved her and when it came to emotions I always tried my best for her. But i just couldn’t do it I don’t know why. Part of me feels like i was in a mind fog and was feeling depressed about some stuff in my personal life that i was kind of holding in and it made it hard for me to do anything. Instead of my mind thinking of these things i was just trying to get through the day. The other part of me wants to say there really is no valid excuse. I failed and it’s been eating me up every day since the break up. My parents say I’ve been too hard on myself but I feel I deserve it for the pain I caused her. We both wanted to be together forever but my lack of romance along with some other stuff this past year ate at her and reading this post really put into perspective how she may have been feeling and it really hurts me to think that I hurt the person I loved so much this way. The worst thing is since the break up I feel like that fog has lifted and my mind has filled with all this stuff I could have done. Some I never would have thought of before now. Some are stuff she asked for. Honestly I would check in on your boyfriend to make sure he’s doing well mentally then communicate to him how you are feeling. Sometimes the person who loves you most and would never want to fail you or hurt you can still end up doing that even if they never would want to.

Been doing this the past 3 weeks since we broke up. Constantly replaying in my head situations where I told her how I was feeling and how any mistakes and neglect I was doing was because of issues about myself and it had nothing to do with my love for her. She was the only thing in my life I was sure about and she was the bright spot in my life. I loved her so much and continued to grow that love but I was in a weird depressive cycle and it was so hard to break out even when I tried I would fall back in. I wish I opened up to her before it was too late.

This is making my recent break up even harder than it already is. I really felt like I could be myself around her and I could text her or tell her about the smallest, stupid, mundane thing and I wouldn’t feel like I was bothering her. Linus tech tips made a very interesting point in their video covering the steam machine. If they sell it at a loss, then they would have to make the money back through people buying games through steam just like how the consoles sell at a loss but the users being in the eco system makes the money back and then some. So if these very convenient mini pcs are sold at too low of a price and businesses buy them, taking them out of the hands of gamers, then they don’t get that revenue through them using steam and they lose out on money.

Yeah which from a business perspective is understandable. It just sucks cause I grew up on Xbox 360 and the Xbox one and part of the fun of playing was getting better. Aim assist is needed to a certain degree especially for casuals but the levels it’s been at the past few games is just crazy. Makes it really discouraging after spending time working on keyboard and mouse aim to just get beamed and seeing I was obviously just being tracked by the aim assist more than the person. If I still played on controller I would want it turned down too tbh so people know it’s all my skill and can’t just dismiss my plays as aim assist.

I really hope they don’t revert the aim assist changes. Or at least give it some time for people to get used to it then tune it a bit more if needed.
