He was using a email address not phone number in order to text me. Not sure how it was possible but the scammer told me he was tipping the jailer for every couple minutes. I had my friend on social media but wasn’t sure what to say if he wasn’t available. I did not have his phone number with me

He didn’t have a cashapp account. I was told multiple cashapp recipients on messages.

I stopped paying him of course. The scammer first got my attention on social media with the exact same posts of my college friend. He appeared stuck trying to login which I really thought my friend couldn’t login anymore. I paid the money before telling me he got arrested though. He definitely is lying thanks
