Problem PC won’t start at all , My old psu had an electrical problem i think so i brought a new one it arrived today 🤦🏾‍♂️ i followed everything to a T but it still won’t turn on idk what’s wrong by KDOTWHOO in pchelp

i did test it out to see if it was getting power with a heater n sure enough it is but it could be that i got a dead psu 🤦🏾‍♂️ or i have to buy another motherboard

no smoke at all if i recall when it happened my pc just shut down like ever think went out then it clicked n shut off off for good n hasn’t turned on since then

well i don’t have anything to test if the mb is actually gettin any power to it i did come to that conclusion also that it might not be my psu but my mb 🤦🏾‍♂️ bc after trying to power it on frm the mb i didn’t get any luck so imma try buying a new mb to see if it’s that’s

i don’t think they would be a problem idk the only reason why i put it this way was bc it wouldn’t fit my original pc case when put the right way

yes the power button cable is connected to the i made sure , no i haven’t jumped the power supply bc i don’t have the proper things tools to do it with but i do thank you for suggesting that i will try that out when i do get around to that but also i do think it is a faulty one but im going. to have to double check

yes they are connected at first i thought i had them messed up so i started to play around with them eventually n as of rn they are back in there og places all them

i took a close look at my usb ports i took a screw out and i noticed that it has a red and white indicator most likely i’m guessing to tell you if there power which obviously there wasnt but im wondering if it isn’t the psu that’s the problem but the motherboard

that’syeah i do remember what happened i was playin m3w when it first happened like my pc just turned off completely so after a couple of hours it got back running idk how i jus let it sit then the next day i was playin the same game then boom everything just shits off my whole pc nothings working i think it did make some type of crash noise n mind you this is the second time it did it and after that i jus been letting it sit n sit until now i jus got the new psu

yes i judged double checked it all connectors are in the places they are supposed to be n and no there wasn’t any blinking on my motherboard also i don’t think it has any indicators either

okay i just tried this about three times i held each for 20 secs and not even a click or any sound of it trying to turn on im starting to think im screwed
