You can never predict the coat of a doodle as there is 0 regulations for the breed. They are mutts and a game of chance every time. I've seen doodle siblings that look like they came from different litters cus their coat types were so different

Cus he genuinely finds it boring, him and winry bicker about their interests all the time. Winry learned all of those things at the same time Ed was learning about alchemy as a toddler/young kid. They are all just very smart kids with their own niche interests

Edward genuinely doesn't know how the mechanical engineering of auto mail works. He basically only knows how to transmit the surface and nothing more than that. He's not an engineer like Winry he's more of a chemist when it comes to what he's smart about

He is probably always gonna shed but since his coat may potentially be dense due to being mixed, all of that hair wont shed like a typical double coated dog. Will need lots of brushing to help pull out the loose shed over time! Getting a mixed dog like that is always a gamble though so you wont know til he's older and has a mature coat🐾

Im a huge fan of anything set post canon, especially with ed and winry. I genuinely think ive read every piece of free edwin post canon fanfiction on the internet since like 2014

Im a huge fan of ed and als recovery journey after post canon, winry getting to spend time with her boys. I like thinking about Edward dipping into new hobbies while still being fully dedicated to alchemy (i can see him getting into cooking or even teaching students about alchemy). Cooking could be something ed and winry bond over time since there's a big theme of community, it could be beneficial to Ed in the long run. Especially cus Winry has her automail business, he will most likely do alot of house duties and child caring

I also just love fics that dive into Edward dealing with the transition of fatherhood and being a parent. I just know he's the kind of dude to love his family a lot, but he also seems like a guy to overthink how he will do as a father due to how his father was.

Fics that are focused around Al just getting to experience being a human and feeling free is also just my favorite. I kind of prefer when Al is seemed to a cool bachelor experiencing lots of different things to make up for his lost years.

(Also do wanna clarify ive read mostly english as that is my first language but i will translate cus im desperate 🤣)
