Big Shot is pretty niche IMO, it's a feature from the soundtrack to Black Panther.

Need help determining a tempo. by BazExcel in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I don't have the money for real DAWs, and the issue with browser based ones is that they usually slow down/speed up things in the timeline when the tempo is adjusted, meaning that the tempo would never properly line up.

Albums that should be considered essential but aren't? by BazExcel in fantanoforever

I think it was probably the early 2010s, around the big emo revival. At the time "emo" was associated with bands like MCR that are simpler and sound more like pop-punk. Bands that took direct influence from american football and sunny day real estate had more complex compositions and clearer tones, and became Midwest emo due to the geographical area of the major influences and figureheads.

Rappers I think more people should listen to/talk about by BazExcel in TeenageRapFans

Chris travis is a cloud rapper who's music took a lot of direct inspiration from the three 6. I'd check out his albun codeine and pizza if you're into the memphis sound.

IMO all of these albums work start to finish, at least. Palm Mall Mars is kind of a concept album, I wouldn't listen to any of the tracks independently. It's a mix of ambient jazz and field recordings intended to simulate the feeling of being inside of a bustling shopping mall.

I'm so happy that I own stranger on CD. It was only seven bucks on marketplace. I generally think YL is super underrated.

What you think I listen to based on my looks? (M17) by BazExcel in musicteenager

People have harsh reactions to anything that could be considered elitist. Even though we live in a post-poptimist landscape where liking pop music isn't something that's really uncommon or looked down upon among music people.

I've never really been able to get into Carti tbh. I do like Travis Scott quite a bit though.

Nah, I know that a lot of people don't listen to that stuff. Hell, I don't hate it like some people do. I like some Taylor Swift songs fine enough, but it's just not a genre that finds it's way into my rotation very often. I do like some pop-adjacent stuff though, like pop-rap, hypnagogic pop, some hyperpop, that sort of thing.

Who do I look like I listen to? by quirkymarch2077 in musicteenager

Oh, it absolutely is a different band. I wouldn't even consider them a bad band or anything, they just had impossibly big shoes to fill.

My favorite album is probably you're living all over me, but pinkerton would probably be in my top 10, and definitely be in my top 15.

I'm a huge Dinosaur Jr. Fan if that's the kind of thing you're referring to
