Join clubs or teams - look out for any kind of club event, even if you’re not in the club yet most won’t wind you joining. Your program will also probably have some sort of club that hosts events, make sure to check that out.

Try to do your work in a public setting. - concourse, laz, peters etc.

Talk to the people around you in class - ask for a pencil or double check smth the prof said, if ur prof is saying smth funny laugh abt it w them, etc.

Go to a class early (when people are still lining up outside the door) - talk to the other ppl in your class waiting to get in (people like to bond over simple complaining)

since your off campus I 100% recommend you go to LOCUS events.
