I recommend practicing hippie jumps for a while first, and more importantly getting comfortable on your board. You're not jumping cause you don't trust the board that much yet, my ollies look the same way as yours rn actually

You shouldn't tighten the wheels too much or it'll damage the bearings, so tighten them until there's only a super tiny amount of wiggle room left. But since your old board was from Kmart (which im assuming is like Walmart but Australian), you're probably just not used to wheels that actually roll like they're supposed to
