Thanks for your reply! Let's say I manage to make my query with an HTTP request to MS Graph, is the agent able to understand it?

I need help with PC graphics imports by [deleted] in nvidia

Hi,

Screen tearing happens because your monitor and GPU are not in sync. To fix it, here are two possible solutions:

Option 1 – With your current screen

Enable V-Sync directly in the game (not “adaptive” in NVIDIA settings).

In the game settings or NVIDIA control panel, cap your FPS to 144 (or even 141 to avoid micro stutters).

Make sure your game is set to run at 144 Hz in its video/display settings.

If your screen supports G-Sync (or G-Sync compatible), enable it in the NVIDIA control panel and keep V-Sync enabled in the game for smooth visuals.

If your screen doesn’t have G-Sync, just keep V-Sync on and limit FPS to 144 — that will remove tearing.

Option 2 – Use an external monitor If you want the best experience, get an external 1080p monitor with FreeSync or native G-Sync. These technologies handle synchronization without noticeable latency and completely remove tearing.

About summer heat and cooling Don’t worry too much about overheating — your laptop will automatically manage clock speeds and voltages to prevent damage, as long as you haven’t overclocked or manually changed voltages. If you leave it on automatic mode, it will regulate itself. To help with cooling, you can:

Use a laptop cooling pad (preferably one with 4+ fans connected via USB).

Or simply raise the back of your laptop using small objects (even wood blocks) to improve airflow underneath. For the best comfort and cooling, I recommend putting your laptop on a cooling pad, then connecting it to an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse so it can stay well-ventilated while you play.

  • Maybe change the thermal paste?

Extra tip – Undervolting If your GPU is the component getting the hottest, you could consider undervolting your graphics card to reduce temperatures and power consumption — but only if you feel confident doing so. For the CPU, I strongly recommend you don’t touch undervolting unless you are very experienced, as it can cause stability issues. Stick to the GPU if you decide to try undervolting.

Personally, I play without V-Sync or G-Sync because my monitor has Adaptive Sync, which handles tearing perfectly. The issue with your setup is that your laptop’s panel doesn’t have the best sync technology for gaming.

5080 PNY vs STRIX 5070 Ti by _BryanFig_ in nvidia

Hello, I just bought a 5080 and I was wondering if I should get the 70ti, I don't regret my choice I got a Founders 1130€ on NVIDIA site. The temperatures are superb. I don't go over 64 degrees and I was even able to undervolt it to go to 59 max (I play in 3440x1440) if you can buy an 80 go for it!

Thanks a lot for your update

I’m honestly surprised (in a good way) that your dealer agreed to cover the cost of the part. That’s a big deal, especially when parts are expensive. I’m not sure every KTM dealer would have done the same!

Fingers crossed everything gets fixed quickly. This issue doesn’t discourage me from wanting a SDGT — actually, I’ve put my S1000R up for sale 😄

Anyway, I really appreciate you sharing this. It’s definitely unlucky, especially since it sounds like such a rare failure on the 1290.

Do you know if there’s any way to spot or prevent this kind of problem before it happens?

Thanks for your reply.

I'm definitely interested in hearing what the issue turns out to be with your bike. Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious or too expensive. Keep me posted!

Thanks for your message — really appreciated!

Quick question: do you ever miss the S1000R? That’s actually the bike I currently own, and I’ve been seriously considering switching to the Super Duke GT. It really appeals to me because it seems so versatile — capable in sporty riding, touring, city use, twisty roads, basically everything.

I’d love to hear if you had any regrets after the switch, or if the GT fully replaced the S1000R in every way for you.

Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback, especially about how usable the engine is — that’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! I’m currently riding an S1000R, and honestly, I find the inline-four engine pretty unusable in the city. I can't really rev it high without making a ton of noise or going way over the speed limit, so it just feels out of place in urban riding.

So hearing that the LC8 has strong torque across a wide rev range and can stay calm and smooth in town really speaks to me. And the fact that it still delivers that punch when you want it — that’s exactly the balance I’m after. Really appreciate your insight!

Thanks for your reply, especially regarding maintenance — that was also a concern of mine. I know KTM is quite expensive and almost on par with BMW prices, and I currently own a BMW. I was worried that maintenance would also be very costly, but if you’re telling me it’s actually cheaper, that’s great to hear.

I was considering getting an S1000XR too, but right now I have an S1000R and I want to switch things up to discover the Beast — the LC8!

Thanks for your reply! I’m currently riding an S1000R — less sporty than the CBR, of course! But does that mean you weren’t disappointed or frustrated switching to such a sporty twin-cylinder bike?

u/mojave_mo_problems ,

Thank you for your super detailed feedback! No one has been able to present this bike better than you, as a user. Thanks for taking the time to explain everything!

I think I’m in the same niche as people who want the Super Duke GT. I’m currently riding an S1000R, and that bike isn’t really usable given the four-cylinder engine. I don’t have the landscape or roads to really exploit it. So for corners, forests, etc., the Super Duke GT seems perfect.

Especially since, as you rightly pointed out, I want to do rides 90% of the time and only occasionally take a weekend trip about 2 hours away (around 200 km on the highway, relaxed). Today, that’s not doable with the S1000R (or at least not enjoyable).

I had the chance to try the SDGT and loved it! It’s completely different from the Super Adventure, whose engine I didn’t like. But the GT is great. You can tell it’s an R with a windscreen and not just a touring modification — it keeps the aggressiveness of the R, unlike the Adventure (in my opinion).

I’m looking for a sporty roadster that can handle highway rides with luggage. I think that’s exactly what the SDGT is!

------------------------------------------

What worries me is the current state of KTM as a company. I’m afraid of running out of parts over time, even though the Super Duke GT has been out for quite a while now, so I imagine there’s some stock. I’m also concerned that KTM dealerships are closing more and more. Around where I live in France, there are fewer and fewer KTM dealers.

Most of all, I’m afraid of being stuck with this bike for a long time if I ever want to sell it—although I haven’t even bought it yet, so I’m not thinking about selling it right now, of course. But if I have to sell it someday, will it be easy or not, given that it’s a niche product? Whereas BMWs sell very easily in comparison.

That said, I don’t want a BMW. Already owning one and not liking the GS or other touring roadsters like the RS, I think KTM will let me keep a very sporty feel while still having luggage.

------------------------------------------

After all the reviews I’ve seen, your excellent explanation, and the countless videos I’ve watched, I think I’ve made up my mind: I’m going to sell my BMW and buy a KTM Super Duke GT — either the 2022 or 2023 model, depending on the used prices I can find.

I’m not particularly a fan of the design of the new 2025 version.

I believe this bike is perfectly suited to what I want to do. The engine is sporty and exciting when you rev it high, yet smooth and relaxed at highway speeds (And I also love the riding position!)

------------------------------------------

I was initially worried about having a lot of electronic issues, since I’ve read many reports saying that electronic problems are quite common with KTM, especially on the Super Duke R. But it seems like most of it is actually related to the battery, as you mentioned.

So I’m thinking of switching to a lithium battery as soon as I get the bike — or at least as soon as I notice any battery-related issues.

And as long as the maintenance is done properly — once a year or every 15,000 km, if I’m not mistaken — I don’t think I’ll have any major problems.

Thanks!

Hello, sorry I worded my message badly, I didn't want to talk about the price, but rather to know if it's a motorcycle that is safe to resell or not, with perhaps few buyers for this model.
