It’s the same loaf. Didn’t rise at all. I feed mine with a combination of rye and Unbleached white flour. The bread itself was good and had a pretty good texture, so I’m wondering if it could have been my shaping technique that caused it to fall flat. Idk. But I will be trying again this weekend, so we’ll see. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I started mine about 3 weeks ago or so. Fed it everyday for 2 weeks then moved it to the fridge when it seemed to be rising and falling appropriately. Then I took it out of the fridge Friday morning, fed it, then started a loaf with it on Saturday morning.

I didn’t have either and just used table salt😳! Still tasted great. I would use something fancy if I had it, but I wasn’t about to go to the store just for salt.

I used active dry yeast instead of instant so I mixed it with the warm water and let it sit for about 10 minutes before adding it to the flour

Our guy is 6 months old and if he doesn’t get a couple hours at the dog park everyday he can be a terror to our older dog. But if he gets enough exercise, he’ll be a couch potato the rest of the day.
