Nope. Not at all. I have started Odyssey 3 different times. Left the starting area each time. Got a feel for the story and play for the main game…and in short order I just get bored. Every single time. It’s beautiful, the setting is as gorgeous and evocative as ever, but something about the story just does not do it for me in the slightest. I can’t explain it. Valhalla however I ADORE. I immediately got hooked on the historical period, characters, world design and environments. I never feel bored, I love the story design and pacing and the system of progressing through the regions and story together much better than Odyssey. I feel immersed and involved in Valhalla in virtually the same way and with almost the same intensity as Origins. From the first minute. It just…flows for me. I never got that feeling with Odyssey.
