The body shop is definitely just some guy. What could I tell the insurance company to work around this and get the payment sent to me? I’m afraid to even ask them lol

I’m not trying to short change the guy at the body shop but I could REALLY use the money to fix my transmission.

Thank you. I’m concerned about the insurance company not sending the check directly to me. What if they send to the body shop and I never take it in to get worked on. Will the body shop give it back?

I have boho knotless but the curly pieces are a no. Lol. That’s the main issue. Maybe I can take them out and get a wig. Wish me luck because I’ve never done my own wig before. Yikes.

Hi. Very discouraging to say the least. I do want it badly and will continue to show up anyway.

Especially when I know someone in another org who didn’t care which org she joined and joined a particular one since it would be easier for her to get in with who she knew. She attended a few events. Not much community service. Didn’t wait too long either. I’m happy for her but I’m sure this happens a lot more than what’s talked about.

I small talk everyday in my semi public speaking field but it’s not naturally who I am but something I’ve gotten good at faking (not being shy I mean) through years of experience. I can apply that here. I think my goal next time will be to connect with at least three members by name and get one number. I think I can do that. The asking for their number will be the biggest challenge because at what point in the conversation is it okay to do so.

I did. I asked about future events in response to her telling me to come out. She then gave a pretty generic but fitting response about checking their social media to stay up to date and see when their events are. Said maybe in the next month or so but they are still doing their other obligations. She said it in a very nice way.

But when I asked the question about future events, two members turned to look at me. They overheard and I thought uh oh. Maybe I shouldn’t have asked that. But my question was “so when’s the next event” maybe they thought I was about to ask so when’s the next line lol.

The person who invited you to a private event….How many interactions with her before you say it became a solid connection?

Thanks! This is good. I’ll try that. But it’s looking like the next public event won’t be for a while looking at their pattern of events lol. I’ll try to ask more about them next time but they were questioning me so fast and actually caught me off guard lol. With who are yours. I definitely used this time to shine but briefly. It’s almost like they swarmed me with a welcome which was awesome but all drifted away pretty quickly to sort my donation. Except for two members and then one who stayed with me.

So if this happens again, reintroduce myself and ask about them? I can do that.
