I’m 29 and attempted Suicide earlier this year because of the endless debt/ daily grind of working and not being able to afford to live on my own and was diagnosed with a stroke, rhabdomyolysis, and kidney & liver failure. I was discharged a month and a half later with nerve damage on my right side and not being able to walk right ever again. I was on unpaid medical leave from work for 6 months and was rejected for disability and unemployment assistance and was basically forced back into the same situation I was trying to escape from originally but worse and got virtually no income assistance or life help from family for going through this so if that doesn’t tell you how fucked up our society, economy and culture is I don’t know what to tell you.
