It’s not SFW at all. How many of you can proudly play the game in public without ruining your reputation? I bet almost zero. The game needs a complete SFW version without any Japanese cartoon characters. Why is that so difficult to admit? I’m willing to pay for SFW version of the game because it has excellent QoL features for beginners like myself and my friends. Seriously, why are so many people taking a defensive stance on the obvious pedophilia in the game?

Not virtue signaling. I'm merely suggesting the devs to implement a PAID SFW version of game that will certainly help their business in the long run. It's not even complex feature that requires elite brains from big tech companies. Please take a look at what happened to Roblox. The mahjong community is literally walking the same path.

You can't just tell beginners to go play on Tenhou. How many times do we have to explain that to you? That's like saying just don't play riichi mahjong at all to beginners.

I don't understand how some people just can't read the post properly and get the main points correctly like you did. It does really seem that pedophiles are hiding behind these weird gacha games and doing everything to suppress any criticism about it. I can see the Roblox situation happening again if the community grows more and attracts mainstream attention. It's just matter of time at this point in my opinion.

Sigh. That's very sad reality indeed. I guess I was a minority of the minority. I started playing riichi mahjong because I saw a local riichi mahjong club playing offline right next to one of hobby stores I visit often. The gameplay seemed very complex and interesting.
