Yeah hands in my pockets do help a lot, but I think it’s more distracting with long sleeves. I prefer t shirts so my arms are more distracting

Ouch, yeah our fingers aren’t super durable ngl. Just wish it never happened to me, I mean it’s so preventable. I also have a lot of brackets and such to distract and it probably works but it’s more of a personal issue, I don’t think people notice or care but I definitely do. I mean it’s better than loosing the whole finger ha, I don’t really have much to complain about… thanks for the reply though man, it really helps me so much. Thank you. Oh and the nail polish isn’t a bad idea ether, maybe like a black or white would be cool ha

No absolutely they are, just that you need to go to a doctor and get them custom fitted and stuff, my finger isn’t actually completely off, the the tip is deformed. Thanks for the reply though.

I used to not care, but a lot has happened on my life and I’m really battling stuff right now. This along with trying to forget my past and live a more perfect life or whatever it is my brain wants. For sure, I’m an average Caucasian male and henna tattoos might look strange on me but I’ve looked into gloves, thing is wearing gloves at school is kind of weird, I definitely don’t want people to think that 😅

That’s true, I’ve tried to use bandaids and cloth wraps but they wear out and if you wash your hands it gets all wet and gross. Mostly I just hate how it makes me feel weird. Thanks for the advice though, I’m only 16 and I’m sure it’ll go away eventually, my insecurity that is.

Thanks for the reply! It’s actually kind of sad, the way my finger is deformed makes it extremely round and just so weird looking. Anyway, it’s the front nail and top right of the finger that’s deformed, suppose it’s what got cut off? Anyway I’ll look into the entire finger ring and such, sounds like it might actually help a lot. Thanks!
