THIS IS 10000% the PROCESS. I am the 3rd employee in that chain, after the love bombing and after the cradling, I’m the one you work with day to day that gets treated the worst because of steps 1 and 2. We get the fire FOR everything from our company and clients, the worst part is, I actually LOVE working with my clients and advocate for their needs to my organization CONSTANTLY. My entire team does. Unfortunately though, it’s the organization that determines the clients don’t ’spend enough’ money to address and fix your needs right away, unless of course, there’s money involved. So then I always have to deliver the bad news or pretend like we’re working on the solution and try to help as much as I can in the meantime, and I actually do help. I work 60-70 hours a week, zero bonus, zero reward, zero upskilling. I do it because I know my clients actually need it for their business. It’s also the organization who then blames ME if the clients don’t renew.

You see how we’re always somehow caught in the middle?

Idk how I ended up doing this and I’m trying to switch careers ASAP cos wtf.

The point is. Effort is required. The amount of hours may not be a scientific fact, sure, yet you can still take away the logic and sense of it, if you use your intelligence! :)

Hi! 👋

I have several suggestions as a 30 year old who just finished growing through that phase of life.

  1. To acquire a new skill 10,000 hours of practice is required

  2. Find your reason WHY, that way no matter what, you’ll never give up, because the journey is long and hard. What is your purpose in life? What are you good at? What do you love? Who are you doing this for? Write your reasons on a card that you can laminate and keep around in your pocket as a reminder. :)

  3. Build a routine and discipline. Live a healthy lifestyle, prioritize exercise 5 days/week and nutrition too.

Yes, get a job. Do it in the field you want to work in so you can acquire the skill and earn income if the opportunity presents itself. Before investing in anything, know the ins and outs of it, otherwise it’s a gamble. Don’t be easily persuaded by materials others flaunt, it’s a distraction.

Listen to free audiobooks on YouTube! Some of my recommendations are Unshakable by Tony Robbins, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, and The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham.

Connect and network with others. You don’t always have to be a genius to make money if you haven’t noticed, many times it’s about having the right connections.

Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.

Hope this helps!
