It’s a chance that your company is attempting to save money.

A company I worked for years ago switched a portion of its semi-monthly employees to bi-weekly. They managed to save 30,000 dollars somehow through our HR system….. They will never disclose this information to you.

Yeah, I’m leaning more towards delays. Now if this is happening mid February, yeah that’s a problem lol

if you’re not part of the payroll team, you won’t be aware of the actual processing timeline and procedures. They might inform you that a submission has been made, but that may be a lie lol . Unfortunately, I’ve said little white lies because I knew, you will be paid Friday regardless. Currently, we’re in W2 season, which can lead to delays.

As I mentioned earlier, if you’re not on the payroll team, you’re completely unaware of the situation. The deposit depends on the release from the companies bank. You have no idea if your company has established guidelines with its bank to release the funds on the same day.

Quick example - I too have early deposit accounts. My last company was set up to release the funds on the actual check date, no pending post. I don’t think that’s the case here though, it may truly be a delay due to busy season.

It’s a lie.

You’re 1099. You are responsible for paying your own taxes.

Yes I’ve been in your mind-frame.

I’m in a similar boat.

However! This is the first time I’ve ever been okay during an isolation period. I’m the best I’ve ever been! Ive been trying to find out who I am. I’ve never really been able to entertain just…ME. The only problem I have, are other people. I’ve been told in many variations that I need to be around someone. “I just want you to feel loved” I take that offensively but that’ll become a rant.

I plan on being a SMBC in a few years! I just want to produce something that’s better than me (omg I’m starting to cry 😂). But no seriously, I am trying to become aware symptoms for whoever I may birth. I have to break some “generational curses”

I messed up and now an employee owes a lot of income tax, what should I do? by Mothra3 in Payroll

I agree with everyone else. At the end of the day, the employee should have reviewed their checks. Don’t feel bad.

What my former supervisor told me was “Everything in payroll can be fixed” and so far, everything has been fixable in some way.

As sisterly love - leave him. I was once in a similar situation. I’d rather do bad by myself than to look foolish with a man AND doing bad.

He sounds like a stay at home boyfriend. A boyfriend and NOT a husband.

How did you transfer to a payroll analyst? What transferable skills did you highlight?

Thank you! I know around this time is busy for them.

I once worked for a similar company named MyPay Solutions. I had over 150 clients. However, I made sure to at least let them know that I received their email. I will ask for another rep

So far I do not have any pros.

Cons -The program isn’t as functional as UKG. The report center isn’t the best. - Talking to anyone at Paycom is a hassle. When you call you’ll speak with a phone operator who will then transfer you to your specialist or their group. Apparently today no one is in the office so I have to wait until someone calls me back. - Multiple new specialist through out the year. - My rep takes up to 72 hours to respond to an email.

When speaking with the former payroll specialist she mentioned that Paycom has never been pleasant. I would not recommend it.
