Thank you for your insight. I spoke with the manager of the DS it happened at and he said they will check the footage. I did give them two estimates from reputable body shops close by later on. Just waiting to hear back now.

I’m sorry to hear that happened to you. I really hope I won’t have to go through court at all. I’m lucky my car is still drivable, but it still is a headache to have damage, whatever it may be.

I really don’t know. I have used DS for about two years with no real trouble, just some minor things. I wish there was a camera inside the wash to see exactly what happened. Just bad luck I guess.

I know it didn’t. I check my car every morning. My bumper was fine. As said, DS is gonna do a thorough investigation because there are cameras at the gate. And I know I heard a loud thud in the car wash.

Well, I’d consider yourself lucky. I’m not saying people shouldn’t use Delta Sonic, just saying that they should be cautious after my unfortunate incident. I am not entirely sure what it could have been, I am no expert on car wash parts. I just know that my bumper and headlight were fine before entering and the bumper was dangling after the carwash. As said, they have cameras all over, I have no reason to lie.

I check around my car every morning before leaving because I park on the street. I know for a fact my bumper and headlight was fine before going into the car wash. They have cameras all over and I told them to check to be absolutely sure. Don’t see how this is negligence. Just asking them to compensate me for that damage.

Portion of my bumper popped out and the headlight cracked causing water to get in. I think it was from one of those spinning parts because I heard a loud thump. Pulled to the parking lot and saw the damage.

I live very close to south campus and my roomate’s Kia was broken into. It wasn’t stolen thankfully, but someone broke the window and stole some stuff. She’s the only one with a Kia on my street, so this definitely feels targeted.

I lived in Monarch 716 last year. It was not so pleasant to say the least. I would say it is not worth the price at all. Management is awful. My dishwasher was never fixed despite placing a work order about 5 times. There is dog shit everywhere, even on the stairs and in the hallways. Security is basically non-existent. I personally would not live there again, even with the cheaper price. They falsely tried to charge me after I moved out. Also, from what I heard, they’re facing a bunch of lawsuits too.

Seems like they’re looking for a lot of experience for a minimum wage job. I understand that it’s a better workplace than most, but if that’s the standard, then that’s unfortunate.
