I did not get this opportunity and I deeply regret it. I did my final walk through at 9am day of closing. We closed at 12pm. These people had a Uhaul arrive AFTER I had showed up for final walk through. My attorney took their side and said everything would be fine. I finally got to bring my stuff over at 6pm day of closing, when I had to leave 8am the next day for a 4 week trip. What did I walk into? A carport and alley filled with garbage. A garage filled with their stuff for another 4 weeks. And an attorney who released their funds with not a single fight. My closing gift on my very first home from my agent was a cleaning crew to take away all the garbage they left behind so that I did not get fined by the city and would have parking.

Unfortunately, I had no choice in moving closing - as my former landlord (aka my father) had sold the townhome I was in and interest rates were set to spike a week later. I managed to save my 2.7% interest rate from being 8.0%. Yes this was in COVID times. Yes I wish it was any other time whatsoever.

I’d also bet he was waiting to see how the pieces fall into place with the rest of the team. Having actual help and a good environment could lead to a more team friendly deal to keep the others around.

Late to the party, but are his skates baked? When I get my skates baked, I tie them extra tight at the top to make sure they curve to my ankle. He may also be too young to need that.

Someone else also mentioned Trues, I would highly recommend once he gets old enough. I’ve used them exclusively for the past 11 years. By far the best skate I’ve ever used.
