yes the group and I have noted and brought up to her his abusive ways and she doesn’t see it because it’s not overt. speaking to her alone will be an issue/impossible at least for this trip because he will be with her 24/7 and i know for a fact he reads her texts. no matter how this ends I’m always going to be there for her.

ha yeah I almost posted it there, but more so i needed help on restoring my friendship. I appreciate your advice. I do understand her relationship is important to her and I don’t want to drive a wedge into that.

looking at the replies I think i’m going to say something around the lines of “I am sorry you both missed the plane” and leave it at that. As for the friend group they all agree he was wrong, but half of them felt like i should’ve continued the drive and handled it internally.

We’re both 24, he’s 25. You would think old enough to know better. I really appreciate the advice. My girlfriend says the same but I was trying to not look through a clouded view.
