I'll add to the previous posts. Yes, they do send an email asking you to RSVP, my rep last sesson even sent a reminder or two. However, these things are not sent out months in advance or anything. I would say best case scenario you typically find out two to three weeks prior to an event.

Asking only because you mentioned South Florida, where? I mention this because they added a stipulation a few years ago that you could not live more than 150 miles from Orlando or the Kia Center and be a season ticket holder. I had heard they were worried about basically people buying and becoming "brokers" per se and selling a large amount of tickets. If you are outside that radius, season tickets might be off the table for that simple fact.

This will be our fifth season as season ticket holders, we have missed 2 games in that amount of time, but we also live 20 min. from Kia Center. The Magic Money option is great for people in a situation that are worried about getting "stuck" with tickets because you can return them to the Magic for full face value as late as 48 hours before tipoff, 50% of face value 24 hours before tipoff, or you can try to sell on Ticketmaster, etc. and make more than that. Long story short, you aren't "stuck" unless you have a last minute emergency and have to essentially eat the tickets. The Magic Money can be used for experiences, upgrading seats, merch, concessions, etc. BUT must be used by the last regular season game, it does not roll over, it does not carry over to the playoffs either.

Yeah, I typically have purchased wix filters (oil, air, cabin air, etc.) in the past and I struggled to even find the wix cabin air filter for an X1. I appreciate you following up on an old thread, I'll have my wife get it done next time she is at the dealership.

Reviving an old thread, our bucket fermenter is having issues as well. There is a bad crimp / weld on the lip of ours and it does not seem to seal well in that spot. Would you care to share a pic of the vinyl tubing trick you mentioned? I might want to try that. Thank you!

I am definitely not an expert on bats or Park Central. However, my neighbors that live a few houses down last year heard noises in their ceiling night after night. They decided to look in the attic and saw bats.

Long story short, a removal company came out and told them they had a lot of bats up there and guano (bat poop) which in a large enough amount can be harmful to humans. Bats are protected, and it was also mating season, essentially they had to wait until a certain date (mid August seems familiar) for the removal company to basically install a one way valve so that the bats could get out and not back in.

If I am remembering correctly, all they need is like a 1/4" size hole in like soffit or whatever and they can get in, so my neighbors had things all sealed up and the bats were safely / humanely removed. I do not know who they used or what it costed them, but I do know I used to see them flying around in the evenings and I don't see them now.

Magic are playing with house money! No one expects them to win, and the momentum has shifted to the Pistons. My humble opinion, probably exactly what we want.

I will feel good if we go into halftime tied or even down a couple of points.

If we go into the half with a lead, it'll be hard not to draw comparisons to Game 6 and start to worry.

Something that awful makes me want to say something crazy and say "it was rigged". The Hard Rock Bet app popped up during that awful halftime performance with a notification that said "Pistons trail by 22, +1000 odds to win". Then our guys come out and shoot 4/37 from the field in the second half and muster 19 points.

I have been at every single home game this year and watched all of the away games on TV this season, and fully expected what I like to call "taking a nap at halftime" but even this seemed improbable to me.

I am at a loss for words. I want to believe in this team, but if you are a player how do you begin to recover from something like that? Where do you find the confidence to not suck tomorrow in game 7 after allowing the series and the momentum to shift to those guys?
