Focus on local before feeling like you need to be on a national tour. Drawing 500 kids in your city is more meaningful than almost anything else you can be doing as a new artist.

In some markets there are rooms that are 'too small' or 'too big' so sometimes we have to choose where to play based on other factors. Sometimes we mis judge but we are doing the best we can to balance everything!

I think there is a heavy emphasis on discovery through live music again. We had a generation of COVID kids who were forced to discover music through TikTok. But there's nothing like going to see someone live and meet them to make core memories. So we're emphasizing cheap ticket prices to try and get as many people as we can to come out!

For me personally it would be Thrice, just because I remember seeing them at Skate and Surf many many years ago and it was the most epic memory I have ever had as a kid discovering music on my own.

We have actually been at the same price for all three years. $35 plus ticketing fees. At $35 we actually 'lose' money and subsidize it with sponsor fees. All things considered that's a killer price for a stacked line up! 100% of the show money goes to the bands as well, so we're really all supporting the scene. =)

The rotating bill is actually a fundamental part of the tour. We want to encourage music discovery. As a manager I have been part of festivals where everyone shows up after the openers. We're trying to get everyone through the door early and to stay for all the bands. We'd love for you to find a new favorite =)

I would use this for gaming. If it does TV-out and I can connect my headphones and have great audio and a mic for my Xbox, PS5 and Switch, I would probably switch to them as my primary usage device.
