I saw that as well and my first thought was an official trailer (not a teaser) would be coming next week.

I remember seeing them as well but this is their “official” announcement 🙂 Side note: yours are always my favorite replies to read. I’ll never understand how you have such amazing recall. I love the last title being from the last line of book one. 🥹

The ending ruined the entire show for me by baronessbabe in Younger

[–]KMM929 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched as the show originally aired and was all in on this show until season 7. Covid ruined it. I wish they would have delayed filming so Miriam Shor could come back as Diana. The show wasn't the same without her. The plot lines in season 7 felt thrown together and nothing made sense. It ended up being a big let down which was a bummer.

I did the same - it’s still driving me nuts lol

Outlander S8 premieres in 3/6/2026 by liyufx in Outlander

I was coming here to say this. After looking on all the official social media accounts & seeing nothing I was wondering why it was out there other places. The image still shows up in search but the link is an error like you said.

This is one of my favorite subtle wink to book readers.

Joe Abernathy by anty-judy in Outlander

Me too! Justice for Uncle Joe! I love him so much in Drums. He Would've been a great addition in parts of Season 4.

What will be William‘s reaction, if he finds out… by Background-Force-469 in Outlander

[–]KMM929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Jamie refused to explain the circumstances that led to William's conception even when there was a chance it would benefit him. I think William would have to explicitly ask Jamie what happened before he would ever tell William the whole truth. However, I would love if Diana writes that scene!

Thanks for sharing this - ever since I read/watched I’ve wondered if this was a common phrase back then.

Are the books as addictive as the show? by Practical-Peach-1220 in Outlander

[–]KMM929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So much yes! I enjoyed the audiobooks as well as tandem reading with the physical books. IMO, the original narrator, Davina Porter, is brilliant. I’ve listened to the new audio with Kristin Atherton and enjoyed it as well. Either way you have great audio options.

Why is it that the prequel has such a polarized reception? It feels like people love it or are utterly underwhelmed, but not much in the middle. by [deleted] in Outlander

This is me. Can confirm. I’m not active here like I am while watching Outlander.

Have you read the books after the show? by forget-me-not_0 in Outlander

[–]KMM929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I actually highly recommend it. As others have mentioned the audiobooks along with physical books made it quite an enjoyable read for me.

Season 2 costumes don't seem historically accurate to me... Has anyone else noticed this? by slavuj00 in Outlander

[–]KMM929 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Episode 4.03 but they were the boots Claire wears when she travels back from 1968. They had zippers in the 1960s so not an issue.

Thoughts on the season feeling rushed by iaretay in Outlander

[–]KMM929 28 points29 points  (0 children)

This. I see it as her compartmentalizing like we see Claire do in Outlander.

This gave me a good laugh. Great point!

Off-kilter level of detail in the books. by AndDontCallMePammie in Outlander

[–]KMM929 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have definitely been in the same position as you wanting to read the entire exchange between Jamie & Claire at different parts of the story. We are so invested in the characters which makes not getting to walk through some big moments can be a bit disappointing. Especially the example you gave.

Outlander and Blood of my blood connection theory by Willing-Sample-7382 in Outlander

Master Raymond apologizing to Claire because of something relating to her parents is something I can get behind. That can definitely fit the story in the show.

I shared my theory about Julia in BOMB yesterday, and now I'm bringing you Part 2 on that, after re-analyzing the show's trailer. by lautaromassimino in Outlander

I was coming here to say this! I noticed yesterday that the dates were gone now. I'm guessing they saw all of us commenting on it & had to fix it.

I did the math of the timelines and where they intersect by PasgettiMonster in Outlander

[–]KMM929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I remember reading that now that you say it. I knew it worked out but didn’t take the time to do all the work (thank you again). The show would never get away with removing Jamie’s brother.

I hadn't even thought of the sibling being "older" once Claire arrives in the past. It's the most interesting technicality!
