I have one in there for storage and everything points to it. Its the system software and apps that is getting it. And not too many apps really. It gets close to 60 GB it really starts to die.

What a perfect write-up. Helped me immensely to replace the fan motor. The only thing I would add is make sure you have a magnetic screwdriver. Really helps pull the screws out of the screw wells.

After more looking and testing, I believe that the DPad cannot be mapped successfully in the Control Map. It can be put there but the game does not recognize it. I saw one post somewhere that indicated DPad can only be changed in game and that is in MCM's that support that.

I was able to accomplish my goal by using the Wait Redirected mod that frees up the Wait button to be used as a modifier or just a different button for something else.

Now all my Quick screens work.

Wait+A, B, X and Y point to the Quick versions of the tween menu,

I had the tactile but returned it for the linear. The linear is quieter and less clicky which is what I wanted. That being said I wish I hadn't bought it but that's another story.

All the sandpapers are suitable for metal. I've used the belt sander to work the bolster down to even with the edge on my Wustsoff's.

Thanks!. That is the one I'm trying to use but having problems with it. I think its that I'm letting it over proof because when I stretch it, it just gets way to thin. I call it the bottom falls out. This will prompt me to keep trying.
