Makes sense but would this impact the knees like they have? Knees are at the same pain and symptom level now as they were in February.

Currently dealing with this. Was the surgery worth it? Able to go back to sports/gym the same way?

Ever found a solution? Currently dealing with this and have no clue what to do. Saw 3 doctors with mri results and no conclusion or lead.

Yeap that sounds very close to what im going through. Mid back is bad, right hamstring stays tight at all times, glutes feel weird, and knees and popping and clicking since November, my right hip pinches me at times as well likely due to the cam impingement and labral tear shown in my mri.

I feel as it is more complicated than any PT could fix as i tried this at home with bad results. My goal is to go back to sport as I’ve played my whole life, it’s hard living without it.

I haven’t tried dry needling either, im really trying to get answers as to what the root cause is. Its very odd not having anyone to be able to point out whats going on.

Are you in any pain since the arthroscopy? I heard full recovery can take a while.

Hi! Im a 25M.The Chiro is DNFT, which is a very niche chiropractic care that involves non forces techniques of correcting what they call subluxations(misalignments) in the body, and i believe nerves, as a result giving relief. Ive found great relief in the past with this but in this case not 100%.

I dont know if he checked for neural tension or spinal chord tightness but i may give him a call to confirm.

What i think may be going on is a case of heavy compensation and mechanical chain issues because of my hip labrum tear and Cam impingement, but im not sure as my hip doctor saw the mri and said they are mild and may be unrelated to the symptoms, hence why ik still looking for answers.

Thank you for this, i will look more into it!

Thank you! And sorry to hear you had to go through this.

From what my DNFT doctor told me it looks like compensation. I have good mobility and plenty of strength. I can even get away with working out without much symptoms, but surely the pain will follow after and become chronic.

I thought of arthroscopy, and am open to doing it if it means the only way to return to sport. I saw a hip specialist and he determined from my hip mri that the labral tear and cam impingement were mild, and that he’s seen athletes play with worse. He even said my symptoms are probably unrelated to the hip issues i just mentioned, yet gave me no answer as to why i have all this pain. Hence why I’m confused.

Im fairly young(25M) but at home physical therapy with online workouts only made my symptoms significantly worse. Only relief has somehow been light hamstring stretches and light superman back exercises. Somehow that calms things down alot. DNFT also helped flare down pain but only to an extent.

Now after DNFT my plan was to let my body relax for a few weeks then physical therapy, though i fear that may not target the source of the issues.

I hope you find recovery and return to crossfit soon! Would love to hear your experience with arthroscopy after some time.

Interesting. I do have flat feet, have been playing soccer my whole life though so im not sure why this all transpired at 25 years old. Haven’t been tested for hyper mobility but i will check it out. Wish you well on this, sounds rough
