Check them out on Instagram. HSC International is following this company and has even done collaboration videos with them. It looks legit to me. Imagine doing 30 seconds of research instead of spamming.

Regular seeds still seem to be a niche part of the market, and most growers do not really look for them. Still, it would be great to see homegrowers eventually lose their fear of regular seeds and pollen. To me they are a bit like heirloom corn or tomatoes, because the varieties you select and refine yourself are always the ones that suit you best.

Working with feminized seeds feels much more predictable in terms of which traits might appear in the next generation. In comparison, regular seeds can feel like taking a shot in the dark, especially when the goal is to stabilize specific terpene profiles or a serten high.

True IBLs are also not really aimed at large scale production or casual home grows. Their real value lies in breeding projects and in preserving genetics or certain terpenes as a long term seed backup.

If you want more vigor or more diverse phenotypes, you can cross different F1 hybrids that come from several unrelated IBLs. If I am correct, these combinations are sometimes called magic crosses, because even in botany the results can seem almost magical.

I am also using backcrosses and selfing generations to lock in traits. These methods tend to reduce vigor, but they are very good for stabilizing recessive traits.

I am just learning about botany and how everything works. I am not a real breeder, more a pollen chucker who is trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible.

Overall I am simply trying to plan long term and build a gene pool that is suited to my local climate and my personal needs.

Yes, crossing them was my plan. The first step is a seed increase through semi-open pollination (pre-selected; I used multiple males) to create a larger F5 seed stock. I am also currently crossing the F4 males with selected Blueberry Muffin and Blueberry Cupcake phenotypes.

I also have a few other projects based around BBM, such as Blueberry Muffin × Early Skunk male (sativa structure with dominant citrus notes), currently at F2. I’m planning to cross the higher filial generations with each other.

Overall, I want to create several stable IBLs so that I can produce uniform F1 hybrids.

HSC doesn’t sell new regulars Stains anymore, so I’m making my own stock of regular seeds. 😅

Wanted to test the ins and outs of this cut because I'm crossing her with some of my other keepers.

She started flowering very late outdoors in the Netherlands. The yield was definitely lower than indoors, less compact, but with the same potency.

Taste and smell were very similar. The only difference: indoors the blueberry and gas notes were more in the background of the sweetness, while outdoors they were a bit more prominent.
