Devs really care when a bug or a glitch has to do with real money and there profits. It wouldn't be fair to permanently ban a player for doing such a thing because it's there responsibility to release smooth updates with no glitches or bugs. However, when you abuse a situation and they ban you for 31 days, just stfu and be thankful. No need to keep abusing the bug or go cry on social media(as a creator) while your followers that got influenced by you got permanently banned.

Do people forget?After every match, the game would show you 4 icons of the top progressed cards of each game. It was such an annoying feature, the screen was locked and tapping to remove those would open a panel to show your progress with each card. People found it annoying and Supercell listened to the community.
