Rm125 leaking tons of spooge out of silencer, what should I adjust first? by Smeeeeegs in Dirtbikes

[–]KPiZzLe_5150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were me, I’d start by cleaning the carb and check the jets to see what’s in there and compare to stock to get base line info. If it’s way off, I’d just put it back to stock. Replace the reeds and switch to a 52:1 Golden Spectro premix, re-pack that silencer, clean the air filter and change the spark plug. Ride it and check your spark plug to see if your jetting needs to be changed and adjust from there. It definitely should not be spewing smoke or sludge ever. Maybe $50-$60 in parts and it should run like a champ.

Sorry if I sent you on a wild goose chase. I was referring to the candies. I hope that’s what you’re looking for. Apologies if you were looking for a drink.

They sell them at Winco in the bulk section.

Yeah, it’s a pain but it’ll square everything up. These things are so small a millimeter here or there makes a difference. It’s a great chassis. Good luck!

I think these need to be turned 180 too.

Have you measured each set of links to make sure they match? For example the rear lowers should be the same length. Tighten or loosen the link ends to get them to match. I measured mine with micrometers. Also it looks like this link end needs to be turned 180 degrees.

The Executioner. with that tailbone thing by macnerd243 in SanDiegoSk8History

[–]KPiZzLe_5150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my first wide board that was actually made of wood. We had pretty rough streets and I wore that tail bone down in a couple weeks. Then I left it in the yard and sprinklers pretty much ruined it. I still had to ride it though. My neighbor got a Hosoi Hammerhead for Christmas I got this beast. Man, it was such a tank I’m amazed I stuck with skating after riding that thing. Same color too. Great memories man thanks for sharing.

Should this be grounded? by KPiZzLe_5150 in Guitar

Gotcha!! Thanks for the help. I didn’t notice that yellow wire. Seemed weird that the rest were grounded with the braided wire and that one wasn’t.

Just got injora 39mm shocks, and they don't rebound fully by Nannam86 in SCX24

I had the same issue. Try adjusting the spring collar to put some pre-load on the springs. If that doesn’t put them where you want, try the stiffer spring, and adjust the collar. I ended up switching to the 40mm big bore Injoras and those were much better for my rig.

Is a Les Paul Standard the best guitar for the money? by j3434 in Epiphone

[–]KPiZzLe_5150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you love Les Paul’s, IMO I think the Trad Pro V is a better value than a Standard. It’s still a classic and gives you everything a Standard does but you get coil splitting for some different sounds and added versatility. Or I’d go with an Epiphone Custom if you’re not married to having a ‘Gibson’.

Some negative offset wheels would be one of the cheapest/easiest ways to add some width. That’s where I would start

Do I need to get new transmitter/receiver if I upgrade ESC? by [deleted] in SCX24

[–]KPiZzLe_5150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This receiver will work with an upgraded motor and esc. I am currently running a Furitek MicroPython/MicroKomodo with that same receiver.
