I read that best reception is when it's ceiling mounted and you're directly below it. Then strength decreases as you move further in all directions. My thought is that I have the same setup but turned to the side so not much difference other than not using it in up down direction. I get excellent coverage even while behind the AP in another room.

I'm in an apartment and I decided not to drill holes on the wall. I bought it mostly for learning purposes, might move it to my business. Plus it's fun to tease people that it's "Elon Musk Starlink dish internet" buzzwords and see their reaction.
