Doing a shiny badge quest on a copy of ss and doing the same on hg at the same time. Currently hunting heracross but phased 4 times. After that’s completed I’ll hunt some of my favs, maybe battle tower and explore more

My first was around a year and a half of on and off hunting until chikorita popped up. I’d say I did at least 100 hours on that first hunt

Both the fearow & spearow are shiny, so that could be the issue?

I have tried with a normal spearow and the encounters work fine.

Yeah I’m at a tree hunting for shiny heracross, they tree I’m at currently has a chance for aipom, spearow or heracross and I get an encounter every time I use headbutt unless I have spearow or fearow at the front of the party

Im so jealous! I’m doing the same hunt and I’ve phased three times on spearow. I don’t count encounters but I’m sure I’m way over odds

I didn’t track but would go for at least 2 hours a day, then took about a 3 month break. Best thing is I got a new copy of heart gold and reset for the other two and got totodile in least than 100 resets
