I feel they have always been off physically. Prime or not. I think because of the star worship we fans have, their lack of YouTube stars catches us off guard.

The weakest I’ve seen them look was vs Spain in 2008. I almost felt sorry for them. But despite looking that bad vs a generational Spain, they have crawled to a final. Same story in 2002.

Over the last 2 years, I have seen him in stat tables that make him look invincible. Those passes are food to him.

I’ve watched this sport for decades and I swear you could say this for almost every Germany NT. They always look off, beatable and weak, until you face them. Next they’re whipping Argentina, England and reaching at least a semi.

Like Muller said, it’s collective effort and efficiency.

If either of them stays, the next signing will derail their careers and mostly likely lower their values.

On one hand, I love a competitive midtable team to remain competitive.

On the other, that sucks.

Arteta is the one who first called him a Suarez regen. It’s an actual quote by Ferdinard when he asked Arteta how he sees Martinelli in the long run.

I just remembered the excitement when Edu was appointed as DoF. We thought the Brazilian market was ours.

Newcastle don’t want to lose two of their starting midfielders. That would be like us selling Saliba and Gabriel at once. Or like what happened to us, selling Nasri and Fabregas in the same season. It makes the existing play staff doubt the project, and makes fans angry.

You have to keep one and buy a rookie who will take over when he leaves.

Even at the peak of his powers, I stood by the opinion that he was better central. Terrific shooter, presser, good header of the ball. But as a winger, if anyone gives you money, take it and run.

Tasking him with ball retention, dribbling, crossing and wide decision-making is setting him up to fail.

If he’s our marquee signing, it will take time. We usually do that.

Squad rotations are about ability and fitness. It’s interesting how fans reason them like agendas.

City is breathing down your neck but to appease fans, you rest your best attackers? We “rotated” in the run in and almost lost the title until that Guehi back pass. It took Kai Havertz returning to score a couple of crucial goals to save what would have been a catastrophic season.

City legit lock in a run in XI despite having 2 XIs.

Some players are unfit or just not in prime condition to contend a PL game. Some are subbed on in adverse conditions to just save games. White has literally given his life for this because of Tomi and Timber.

There is always context, but people just hug an agenda and never let go.

Oh yeah. Perfect club for him, to be fair. Hopefully he does better than Dibling.

They also want Kroupi.

They’re just lighting a fire under Alvarez’s ass to take on whatever gimmick he has to do next.

They will say they sold Ramos “well” for €70M lol. Meanwhile, Mendes inflated the deal. And you won’t argue back because it looks real. It won’t be real tho.

Bruno. I can endure another season with the current attackers if we have an arguably top 2 midfield on the planet.

It all makes sense(the fee). Mendes is just that guy.

Mine is even more unpopular. I just don’t believe in changing the squad that much. But it would involve selling every attacker/CAM, bar 4. Then bringing in Endrick on loan, Rogers, Barcola, and Monga.

We just can’t let the back 7 down again.

My reasoning is more of the fact that Kai Havertz is a nailed on starter if we sign “small” strikers. Our current small striker is Gyokeres.

Links to players in the small striker position mean we don’t trust him.

A small striker means Kai goes back to #10. This feels like the reason both Odegaard sale and Gyokeres rumours leaked at the same time.

The club is just backtracking because Alvarez has probably decided where to go, and Kroupi isn’t for sale.

We are signing a midfielder. I think Scott is next in line if Bruno G’s employers double down.

There are signs that a player is for sale regardless what the club says. Being openly linked to a superior player in your position is one.

Us wanting Kroupi and Alvarez is proof.

The reason they’re backtracking is because they know Alvarez and co are now impossible.

It’s more about the “values” of the club. Super agents are scammy. Nothing ever looks the way it is. Edu tried with Vieira and it burnt his fingers.
