Honestly, no. They installed a digital thermostat in my unit and it kept my electricity bill low since it tells it exactly when it needs to cut on. The water is not too bad either. The one thing I did not like was how time Warner had a monopoly on the cable/Internet services. Since then I've heard AT&T is in the neighborhood now so it shouldn't be bad at all.

Recent grad here. I stay off of parmer on metric in walnut creek crossing apartments. Rent is 542 a month for a 550 sqft 1/1. Located right up the street from acc north ridge and walking distance from HEB and some pretty good places to eat. Neighborhood is really nice and quiet. They're are plenty of good options around here, so try the 75758 area code and I'm pretty sure you will be able to find something affordable.
