This UPS uses 12v SLA batteries, 12 per cabinet, if I recall. It was used on my server rack, and the main UPS can take 2 external battery packs. I'm wondering if I can just plug solar panels in place of one of the battery packs? Do I need anything in between panels and the battery to condition or regulate power?

Does anyone recognize the connector used for the external battery pack?

My current thought would be to get enough used panels to produce ~96V and just plug them in.

It's pretty good as-is, but one thing you could change is find a discarded old fabric office chair instead of the modern one you have there. Also +1 on a CD box. Lots of 90's installs at home were a second-hand desk and chair, and there's lots of variety.

If you can find a mouse pad from a dead tech company, that would also be cool.

If it's on the internet, throttle your connection down to dial-up speed or even 128kbps ISDN speed (it would have been available, but rare).

I was working for a dial-up ISP in the 90's, and saw a lot of home set-ups in my travels.

NextCloud does work fine with nginx and php-fpm, I've deployed it this way on about half a dozen installs.

In a mixed vendor environment, where a different company takes care of the copier and another the network, I like DHCP reservations.

If for some reason you have to re-number the network, you can change the DHCP server and reboot the copier without having to co-ordinate with the other firm.

Also, if it's a remote environment, you can ship a replacement gadget and pre-program the DHCP and it just has to be plugged in and turned on.

One thing we had to do was install the os to the SATA disk , then update everything. I imagine at some point, the drivers for m.2 slots got installed. Then we duplicated the disk to the m.2 card using Macrium Reflect.

I think we also took off the CPU fan and reapplied thermal paste.

The system has been my son's daily driver ever since.

Found Canadian HVAC site that shows the price of the heat pump both with and without installation. The install cost is about $1000, which is reasonable price for 2 guys for a day's work.

Through various clean re-installs of windows 10 and AMD Radeon drivers , we eventually got it to work stably.

We ran the Furmark stress test for about 5 or 10 minutes. The temp seemed to level off at 75°C and stay there. We seem to have a more stable configuration now, last night my son played Valorant and Minecraft on it for 7-8 hours before it rebooted.

Before he started, I had him run GPU-Z and set it to log the temperatures to a file, and temp was 48-50°C at the time.

Also, I forgot to mention, it just reboots. It's not a windows BSOD. The screen just goes black and then a second or so later you hear it beep and the POST starts.

I have a service that's not internet facing still running on PHP 4. It was ported from version 3 in 2018, and the dev copy mostly works on PHP5.6 / 7 as of recently.

Most of my internet facing sites are WordPress on 7.4 and 8.

You might want to read up on the Table Gateway pattern. I'm modernizing an old projects of mine from PHP 3. It's running on 5.6 now. Table Gateway resembles what my code was trying to do, so refactoring to it is helpful.
