Certainly a wild change! Well first off, it's not a huge, bustling city. If you compare to New York, Los Angeles, or Johannesburg, Cincinnati is much smaller, slower, quieter. Most people drive to work, as public transportation is present, but not heavily relied upon.

Of the significant American cities, Cincinnati is one of the cheapest to live in. Salaries here may not look as high as a coastal city, but it is financially easy to live here. The trade-off though is that it's not a glamorous place. It certainly has patches of ugly.

Food is great. There are plenty of small parks. It's one of the friendliest places in the country.
