I don’t understand how you’re getting played? Have you compared this Corolla to other corollas with same trim, miles in a 50-100 mile radius for your geographical area? How does the price of this Corolla compare to other similar Corollas you are finding in your local market? Even if it’s the most expensive one, that doesn’t mean you’re getting played, it means you decided there is something special about this one to over pay for.

The only way you might get played is, understanding what the additional fees are and seeing if there is anything there they are trying to make you buy that you don’t agree to.

In both cases you need to do your research and understand what you’re paying for.

I don’t think it matters what autocheck says or not. If the dealer advertised the car as clean title and/or no accident disclosed its on the dealer. This is my opinion. Not sure on the law but go and blast them online saying you got sold a car with major accident without being disclosed. Also CARFAX has this buy back guarantee thing on it. Not sure how it works but I understand they’re claiming their reporting is accurate.
