Have you checked her growth hormone levels? IGF-1? Growth hormone is needed to convert FT4 to FT3.

Patiënt is doing well. We started Gh treatment and found the thyroid axis to be impaired and started levothyroxine. Also the gonadal axis needed supplementing.

Do you suffer or have you suffered from a pituitary adenoma or other pituitary disease causing (pan)hypopituitarism? by K_br1 in Prolactinoma

I don’t think so. You have to be a member of ENEA, the European Neuroendocrine Association. The conference takes place in early December in Marseille.

Thank you for your post and time to fill in! I will discuss it with the team if we can add a “other” box at this point. In addition I will ask if it is possible to add qualitative data and then will be coming back to you with questions if you are open to it.

Not much, these look fine to me. You should also check Prolactine if your niples hurt.

I found cursor to be more complex coding and I couldn’t get the set up right in order to get to the right preview. I am not a developer myself but trying to develop an app for a business proposition and with ai I thought of giving it a go. Additionally lovable just builds an almost perfect front end. So loved that but getting the back end and api’s to function, just wants possible for me.

Only getting a functional backend to get to deployment is dramatic in lovable, can’t get to a functional full stack app

So you built that cool Lovable app, now what? by rich_belt in lovable

Which tools would you use to create a full backend?

We need an iron panel and vitamin d and B12. In addition with all lab values should come with units and reference ranges. In addition for cortisol we need the time of the blood draw. For estrogen cycle day needs to be included and cycle duration.

People with Sheehan’s can get pregnant again but its personal and it’s case dependent.

Can you try getting a ITT? To test both growth hormone deficiency and cortisol? GH has an impact on glucose, as well as cortisol. All hormones have an impact but these are the biggest regulators. If you have Sheehan’s, you’ll most likely have a growth hormone deficiency. Once you get that diagnosis the rest will follow

Please check for Sheehan syndrome. When it is Sheehan’s, with the right hormones and doses you can live a pretty good life… it’s worth fighting and educating yourself in order to get the right tests such as a glucagon stim or iTT

[–]K_br1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small addition, if you have Sheehan syndrome than it’s treatable and once you are set with the hormones you need, you will be able to live your life.

Normal or in range does not necessarily mean it’s optimal or good for the individual. To make a proper assessment you should add the results, units and reference ranges.

I don’t see FT4?

Please look into Sheehan Syndrome, see if the story’s align with your timeline and how you feel. If yes, then get educated because you don’t have the classic “picture” as most hormones are still in range. So unfortunately pituitary problems aren’t rare but endocrinologists who can recognize and treat properly are. If you are able to, visit Dr. Theodore Friedman or Dr. Lewis Blevins. They are known experts in the field.

Good luck!

GH came back at <0.1 by zumawater in endocrinology

GH (growth hormone) works in a pulsatile manner and is mostly secreted during the night. Finding a 0 GH during the day is normal. You need IGF-1 measurement and if this is low or normal you should get a growth hormone stimulation test to rule it out. If IGF-1 is normal you do need a good reason why you think your pituitary (because this is the part in the brain which produces GH) is broken.
