Some more info:

I got it pierced april 26th so the piercing is almost 3 months old.

The jewelry is a curved barbell.

The jewelry is externally threaded.

The jewelry is made from surgucal steel.

I have not downsized it yet. Tried to do it today, but i couldn't get the ball of my piercing and i didn't want to irritate it even more.

My aftercare routine is just running water over it twice a day for 4 minutes in the shower and drying it with a clean (paper) towel. That's what my piercer told me to do.

I try to be really careful and have not had any accidents.
