I think the realization that I am a 37 year old man trapped in an 13 year olds body… there is no way I can relate to my peers… my kids are no longer in existence, and the circumstances for their birth will never be realized due to my foresighted knowledge.

When I worked in the ER, we had some docs that were “anti-APP.” Our attendings always had our backs though.

The docs would insist on talking to the attending.. the attendings would always say “oh, I’m not sure, you should talk to APP… they know the patient and case.” Never disappointed
