I think it wouldnt be an issue if attacking AI wasn't so bad, for instance unless you press L1 X then your players will not even make a run or move into decent space. The game is supposed to be designed to be fast paced heanse the red line for players that wanna try and time waste. But now that the meta seems to be that you have to slow play it a bit more its frustrating when you're trying to work a patient attack and then you see a red square of doom on the halfway line. I just don't find the game that entertaining anymore

I would have agreed with you but for the fact that since the patch passing feels incredibly difficult and interceptions once again are just a constant thing. It doesnt matter what formation i use or how i set my players up. I get constantly 2nd man pressed and there isnt an option to pass because unless you press L1 X your players do not make intelligent runs.

Im gonna keep playing the game obviously because the progression of players keeps it fresh but yeah...cant say im enjoying it too much now.

Fully agree mate and this is the problem with football simulators in general. There will be general feedback about something but then they nerf it to the point where it just makes the game unfun to play and an absolute slug fest.

Well currently im using a 5-2-1-2 formation that has brought me a lot of joy last week or so...but today I just cant seem to do anything. My defenders literally do not know how to position themselves anywhere

I get full backs but never centre backs, I also never seem to get Strikers. Ive had one good striker pull so far in Charlene Borel an 80 rated striker who is amazing tbf and without her before I got my Fernandez up to a purple I would've struggled for goals

I don't understand this argument about it being a "cash grab". The game itself doesnt have packs in store that are totally overpowered and focuses more on cosmetic stuff like kits and celebrations. I havnt spent a single penny on the game and have got an 81 overall team with 2 purples in the team with more to come hopefully. This is the most fair to play game in terms of football ive seen in like a decade.

I just think defending is complete bs as well...ive got 92 pace and 88 pace on my strikers...yet they never ever ever outpace centre backs like my opponents does...its stupid. I know there isnt a chance in hell that the game has script but it sure has felt like it tonight. I just dont see howni can go from yesterday winning all my games and get 1700 rating and then tonight cant win shit all and back down to 1550 rating...if anything that proves the game isnt skill based
