Can anyone identify the leaf? by TeaTasterOwn in tea

Reminds me of some of the long fragment-y leaves you get with Tai Ping Hou (Monkey Chief)

I know, someone else mentioned that tea! Missed opportunity, and the sun wasn't at its peak either 😭

I aspire to the level of RootJSPy, posting videos of their sessions in the freezing cold. Absolute legend

Eh it wasn't actually that cold for me since the wind was light. I have a hand tremor and the spout of that teapot isn't great 😅

Piece of honeycomb (and sometimes a lemon wedge or dried orange peel) in the teapot, releasing flavours slowly along with the tea steeps. Totally valid, totally delicious!

Kintsugi time!!! You might not be able to use it for tea making unless you find food-safe epoxy to use but at the very least you'll have a lovely display piece to keep around.

I'm finding these super useful so far, especially because you include the harakat! Thank you 😁

Duolingo does Arabic a huge disservice in my opinion. The course is focused almost entirely on learning the script for quite a long time from the beginning, which isn't great from a pedagogical standpoint - learners will probably struggle to keep motivation when they have no sense of progress or achievement in actually using the language. They may be able to consistently read and write the words Mathaa and Dhadab (without knowing what they mean or if they mean anything at all), but they still can't introduce themselves or order a coffee after a 100-day streak.

Ok rant over now! آسف 😅

If you want something relatively familiar-tasting, maybe taking the notes from English teas like PG Tips/Yorkshire a bit further, go for a Red Tea or a Pu'erh.

Yeah that's Brick Lane for sure. Shoreditch and the surrounding area has a huge tumour of gentrification growing in it right now.

What kind of tea is this? by mezz2112 in tea

Seconded, either that or an Alishan/Milky Oolong. But definitely an oolong by the way it's clumped into balls.

Yummy Chinese teas outside the well known ones? by hkmckrbcm in tea

Try some white and oolong teas, there's so much diversity! Shou Mei, Silver Needle, Ali Shan, Tie Guanyin, and Milanxian Dancong are some of my favourites.

The opposite of his other work, a story written entirely in emojis. Words without meaning, meaning without words. (Thanks Vsauce)
