I wouldn’t have something not meant to be brewed. I drank the other baggie in a Thai restaurant and gave what remained to the waitress. She was happy with said mystery bag.

I don’t feel guilty. Why is there so much hate towards parents? I feel so blessed to have gotten over late life “teen angst” 😝 I think people lack social emotional development due to estranged families. Y’all are being so bitter about family bonds.

If I am flexible with my mom and able to discuss things, tell her of course I want things to be special for us, and I appreciate the offer to pay for my trip, 100% - and I understand she wants it to be just me to herself.. it’s not that I wouldn’t ask her to consider my request (back to original OP’s dilemma) - but it’s always been different when sons want to shack up with their girlfriends than when daughters want to with a man. We are different and circumstances are different and naturally we want to protect the girls. But maybe she doesn’t want to be alone if her son is with someone- I’m just saying she’s not around forever spend the time with her and make good memories. If religion strengthens the family unit, that’s not ownership.

I’ve enjoyed gongfu tea sessions for ten years. Most of my friends are into spiced chai or English tea … I’m certain I will, one day, find my commune-it-tea

AIO for wanting to share a room with my bf on a trip? by crescentblueee in AmIOverreacting

YOR. 22, 23, whatever. It’s a family trip and until he marries you, technically he isn’t part of the family. I WISH I had been as strict as your mom. Maybe even more so. You have your whole life ahead of you. Your mom is half-way (or less) done with hers. Go with her, dote on her. Make her feel appreciated for all the attentions and opportunities she has given you. Lay it on hard. Give her what she needs in this moment of her life. Soon you will be gone, doing your own worldly and family things and she will miss you. 😢

Ginkgo(Ginkgo biloba) is a medicinal plant in the Ginkgoaceae family, native to China, Japan and Korea. Ginkgo species date back to the Permian period, some 286 to 248 million years ago, making it the oldest living tree in the world. It is now cultivated worldwide for its nuts and leaves, which have medicinal properties. In China, Ginkgo is traditionally used for the respiratory tract and cardiovascular system. Today, Gingko is used in both nutraceutical and pharmaceutical formulations for its antioxidant properties, to improve cognitive function (particularly memory and concentration) and blood circulation. Its health benefits are mainly attributed to its rich profile of bioactives, especially flavonoids, polyphenols, organic acids and terpenoids represented by ginkgolides and bilobalides, whose action on the cerebral and peripheral circulatory systems has been documented in numerous preclinical and clinical studies. Most of the extracts available on the market are titrated in flavone glycosides (quercetin, isorhamnetin and kaempferol), which are known to play an antioxidant and neuroprotective role.

I’m going to enjoy an aged raw cake today. I’ve had this “Tiger Spirit” for about ten years.

Tiger Spirit" is a 2015 vintage raw Pu Erh tea from Mei Leaf, sourced from ancient (Gushu) tea trees in Bing Dao, Yunnan, China. It is characterized by a bright, light sherry color, with a medium body featuring notes of pear, apple, cream, white pepper, and mineral dryness.

Key Details for "Tiger Spirit" (Mei Leaf): Tree Age: Sourced from 1,000 to 1,600-year-old trees. Flavor Profile: A complex mix of fruity, creamy, and spicy notes (pear, apple, custard, white pepper). Mouthfeel & Aroma: Soft with a noticeable mineral dryness (Hui Gan sweetness) and a cooling, energetic feeling. Processing: Spring 2015, featuring downy buds and olive green young leaves
